Scott,

Modify the list Post.Office create to the proper Userid, Password, Full Name
that adduser.exe needs by adding a default password.

Give them notice prior to the change that your are making the new default
password xxxxx. And tell them to change it.

Although you know, no one will change the password from the default you set,
so make it a really hard 15 characters :)

Yeah I got that, the KB is the first place I checked. It's a shame there
isn't one for Post.Office.

The Article you linked to says exactly what I put in the original message:
"Since Post.Office will only export userids you will have to put the
passwords."

Not really feasible on thousands of undocumented addresses. I have seen
evidence and heard legends that a password cracker exists, but it seems to
be a figment of the internets collective imagination.

I was just thrown a wonderful little project, I'm supposed to move 3 or 4
thousand Post.Office users over to our own Imail server. The only sparse
documentation I can find lists a command line utility for Post.Office that
exports users, but not their passwords. The mailbox format looks atrocious,
and I can't even get halfway decent access to the server!

If anyone has messed with Post.Office and knows of any way to extract users
passwords, I would greatly appreciate your help. I suppose I can script the
changing over of mailbox formats, but this isn't going to be pretty!
