If the SMTP Security Relay setting is 'Anyone' that would be a true open relay as IMail would accept any and all email, and attempt to deliver it. Other settings place limits (Host means senders address would have to be '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', User means address = '[EMAIL PROTECTED]') and the most secure would be 'Addresses' or 'No'. Since you did not say which setting you used, it would be hard to determine (without some testing and there are sites that do this) how secure you have made the system.
