Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Moving IMAIL
to a new drive

email.

First check
the SPOOL directory. It could be filled with log files and old undeliverable
mail. This directory can grow pretty quickly. You can use ISPLCLN.exe to clean
up.

I'd like to move IMAIL and the user folders to a new, larger drive. What
is the procedure to do this? Someone told me that it will require some
manual adjustments to the registry? Is this true? What needs
adjusting?

It's
pretty simple there is a technote on this. You need to modify the registry if
you move to a different drive letter. You also could just ghost to a large
drive.

I've just inherited our IT department and I'm
trying to learn some IMAIL administration. PLease excuse me if this
question seems too elementary for this listserv.
We're running extremely low on disk space for
our email. I'd like to move IMAIL and the user folders to a new,
larger drive. What is the procedure to do this? Someone told me
that it will require some manual adjustments to the registry? Is this
true? What needs adjusting?
