I am waiting for the rtfm, rtfkb, etc. comments from Len... ;p

As for your problem Scott, a quick search of the kb reveals several articles, incl. "IMail - How to move a Virtual Domain's mailboxes to a different drive" which may be applicable to your situation.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Moving IMAIL to a new drive

I've just inherited our IT department and I'm trying to learn some IMAIL administration.  PLease excuse me if this question seems too elementary for this listserv.

We're running extremely low on disk space for our email.  I'd like to move IMAIL and the user folders to a new, larger drive.  What is the procedure to do this?  Someone told me that it will require some manual adjustments to the registry?  Is this true?  What needs adjusting?
