OK-
I have purchased the Declude Virus software.
Now I need to find an anti-virus that will give me the needed command-line
scanning capabilities.
Here is my dilemma: I have tried installing Mcafee's Virus Scan (ver 5.16)
on my Win2k Advanced server that is running my Imail system. When I try to
do so, it scolds me and says it is for use with Win2K professional
(workstation), 98 or ME.
Does anyone have any experiences of something that will work in my
situation?
I have found Kaspersky Labs Anti-Virus engine for NT/2000 server, but they
want $560 dollars for it.
I am browsing the web, and can't really find much that will work with
Advanced Server. I would be willing to bet that if I attempt to price
server versions of some of this stuff, they are going to want to charge me
licensing per mailbox (at least Mcafee does) even though technically it
would be doing the same thing as if it were running on a single user
workstation.
There has to be something out there reasonably priced that will work in my
situation.
Is my thinking incorrect?
