[IMail Forum] Secondary Mail Server?

I use IMail 6.x and host 20 or 30 domains.   I was thinking about setting up a secondary mail server.   What are the basics?  DNS records (MX)?  Can I synchronize the 2 servers domain and user information?   I'm not looking for detail but just some direction.   Thanks, Bill
