Question/Problem: What is the order of precedence in IMail for processing mail in a user account? Answer/Solution: IMail handles mail destined to a valid local addresses according to the following order: Alias, User Account Name, Forward, Rules, Info Manager, Vacation. This cannot be modified. Dave In reply to 26 Apr message from [EMAIL PROTECTED]: >Using IMail 6.06, Many of our SalesReps use the forward >function to duplicate email to their Nextel phone >.,[EMAIL PROTECTED] as an example >When these folks receive a email that is caught by the >rules.ima they still get alerted (the phone displays the >first 120 characters of the email) >So this lead me to believe that the forward happens before >the rules.ima checking.
