... Not really sure the significance...

In looking at the knowledgebase for ipSwitch I ran across that coding...

But over the months, they have changed their stance and their coding:

They say, after 6.04 use the
B~(name=".*\.vbs"|name=".*\.shs"|name=".*\.scr"):NUL
B~(begin 6.*\.vbs|begin 6.*\.shs|begin 6.*\.scr):NUL

and for before 6.04 use the
B~(name=".*\pvbs"|name=".*\pshs"|name=".*\pscr"):NUL
B~(begin 6.*\pvbs|begin 6.*\pshs|begin 6.*\pscr):NUL

I can only guess that the \p is telling it to look at the last "x"
characters, and in the case above it is looking for anything ending in vbs
or shs or scr!

Hope this helps!
Bill

What is the significance of "P" in your rules?

Never saw it come across here... that is what the rules:

B~filename=".*\pvbs":NUL
B~filename=".*\pscr":NUL

are for...

Yes, there was. Do NOT open it, unless you'd like to spread the virus
around further! :)
