It may be something specific to the version of web messaging you are running, since I
am reading this in web messaging (IMail v6.04), and I see the correct characters.
Another possibility is that she is seeing those characters in certain MIME encoded
sections that IMail isn't decoding. That might happen if someone forwarded an entire
E-mail in its original format, complete with message headers.
