Christopher,
Web Messaging does not have a periodic check setting, so the only way I can
see you having a client do this is via POP3 or IMAP and those are completely
different services, so won't affect Web MSG (it would not be activity in Web
MSG!).
The only thing I do when using Web MSG, is to copy the data I just typed
when composing, prior to clicking Send. That way, I have all I typed and can
easily redo it, if I encounter the timeout. True this is not an automatic
process, but simple enough that users can do it, with just a bit of
reminding. Only took me a couple of encounters with the timer, to come up
with this method!! All one need do is highlight all the typed text, hold the
CNTL key and hit C and I have the data. If it does timeout, I just hit reply
again and then SHIFT, Insert, and then hit send.
