put you DNS in the DMZ between your packet filtering border router and your
firewall proteting your private net.

if they can�t get your forward zones right, I doubt whether they will get
delegation of your reverse zone to your DNS right.

you can ask them to delegate the reverse zone for your ip block to your DNS
