Check out Ron's EZSignup utility. It works great for things like that. It gathers
all information to populate LDAP fields as well. I have a utility that doesn't
populate LDAP but it does add for random user names if someone keeps picking a
username that is already in use mine also needs an external database where Ron's works
with any situation.
