Those Exchange servers are the ones that are broken and can't accept bounce
messages or return receipts, not ones that are protected from spam. The
ones that are protected from spam will catch spam, not bounce messages and
return receipts. It is also a violation of the RFCs to do this, and the
Exchange server will likely end up in the www.rfc-ignorant.org database,
which will prevent some other people from getting mail from this Exchange
server.

You can't. The RFCs require the return receipts and other DSNs to use a
return address of "<>".

It will also prevent you from purchasing any other mail server, as few mail
servers will do things in ways they aren't supposed to.

The setting is the one in Exchange that is intentionally blocking the
return receipts. If you have Exchange set up that way, it will block any
valid return receipts it sees. It will also block any bounce messages,
which will get postmasters on the remote domains upset as they have to deal
with the bounce messages instead of you.
