Steve,

What happens when you shutdown the MS SMTP service then stop/start IMails
SMTP service? You should be able to connect to port 25 and see IMail.

As for config, you don't need this:
> -all aliases for domains are included in in ../ImailTop/accept.txt
as local hostnames and Aliases are considered as local hosts.
