Scott is correct and I just retested and see that nothing has changed. Here
is my telnet session to your host:
220 X1 NT-ESMTP Server webster.pepi2.com (IMail 6.06 73-2)
vrfy root
250 ok its for <root>
vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
550 not local host pepi2.com, not a gateway
vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
250 ok its for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
No, Aliases need to be added to the Alias field for IMail to accept that
after the @ in the email address. Adding to Accept.txt is not needed for
valid domains and aliases.
I was able to connect to webster.pepi2.com on port 25 and port 110 (pop3).
So unless there is some local DNS problems, you should be able to, also. If
the name does not work, try the IP address. If the IP works and the name
does not, then there is a name resolution problem!
