Orlando and Rick,

Just a short note confirming that I'm still having this problem and that no
one on the IMail Forum list offered any help (yet), even via an off-list
reply. My original posting was on May 26, 2001, so I must conclude that our
esteemed colleagues do not consider this bug to be important enough to
warrant trying to help or, possibly, that they just don't have a fix for it.

I am almost sure than Ron Hornbaker from HKSI has a workaround in his
Classic and KillerWebMail templates and I understand his reluctancy to
supply me -- even privately -- with helpful information to fix the IMail
Server stock templates with a bit of JavaScript since his workaround is part
of the added value in his commercial templates.

What I was hoping for is some sort of acknowledgement that the truncation
bug is still present, which is what you both did and I thank you for this.
Since nobody on the list seems to have (or be willing to share) a way to fix
it, I suppose that we'll have to live with it until Ipswitch issues a patch
or fixes it in IMail Server 7.0, whenever that happens.

Meanwhile, this mail admin has to deal with chronic complaints from his
(many) Web messaging users getting bounces when they select truncated
addresses from their address book. As I wrote earlier, it is not always
possible to guess what the last/lost character ought to be and fix it
manually...

address book it takes the last letter off the domain. (e.g.
nobody.sitestar.ne)Is anyone else having the same problem out of
webmail. If so what did you do to fix it.
