Actually, I've seen this too... It seems to happen whenever the server
chokes on itself and either reboots on it's own or has to be rebooted...
Folks will get multiple copies of whatever was in the queue at the time.
It's tought to nail down beyond that.

If the IMail server was doing it, then you can check the IMail logs to see
why. Check the logs and you'll see where the E-mail came in, and you'll
see it delivered once. You will also see other things such as forwarding
of the message, or if the message was received 5 times.
