Simon J Mudd creates the latest RPMs needed for RedHat 7.1 usually within a
day of the latest release of the latest snapshot. Also integrates
pflogsumm.pl, but Date-Calc must be installed separately. Simon always
keeps his RPMs up to date. I will be making those RPMs available on
www.postfixgate.com for download to make sure they are always available.
The bottom line for new Unix users is ease of use that RPMs and RedHat
offer, and tons of documentation. I'm not saying FreeBSD and the Postfix
full source are not the way to go, but for some RedHat is easier, and Simon
does a great job of keeping his RPMs up-to-date. I must have been lucky to
have found a reliable source for RPMs. The link below will take you to
Simon's site.
