Install Exchange, your mailboxes will be created automaticly due to Active
Directory, and hopefully you do not have too many users.. either write clear
instructions with lots of pictures or visit each user and tell them how do
download their mail with POP3 and then move them into the inbox or folders
on the exhcange server using Outlook. Good Luck and be careful with
exchange. Very poweful software and very tempramental it wants everything
to be just right.. make lots of backups. Make sure your domain is on W2K
SP2 and install Exchage SP1.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Migration to Exchange 2000
I'm about to move from Imail 7 to Exchange 2000. Management got tired of
me relaying the constant "we can't duplicate your problem, but it will
be fixed in the next patch" from IPSwitch tech support.
I now have to figure out how to move 10 GB of IMAP4 mailboxes to
Exchange. Microsoft provides a method for moving IMAP4 mailboxes to
Exchange with their migration wizard, but it doesn't work. The LDAP
method doesn't show any accounts to move and the IMAP method complains
that my CSV file had an invalid header. There is of course little
documentation or help from Microsoft.
Has anyone here done this successfully? Does anyone have any hints or
suggestions (other than stay away from Exchange)?
TIA
