Thanks for responding. Indeed, the turnaround time on this list is highly
variable, especially on the lengthy side (i.e. not a true Gaussian
distribution) ;)
I too did a text search on the "Powered by..." string on the stock IMail 7.x
templates and came up with the same results you gave. You'd think that the
Ipswitch folks would have used an include to save *them* some work but what
do I know.
I'd be very happy to go with KWM templates but my tiny user base -- and
hence the paltry revenues -- simply doesn't make this an option, at least
for now. I just wanted to remove the ubiquitous "Powered by..." link not
because I wish to hide the fact that Ipswitch's IMail Server is the product
I use but rather to unclutter the general appearance I wish to give my
web-based e-mail site. Most if not all my users would probably not be drawn
to visit the link in my view; they are end users, not admins :)
Anyway, thanks for confirming that there is no magic tag nor include file
that would make this task easier. Notwithstanding what a certain member of
this list may think, I actually do recommend your products as well as Scott
Perry's even though I am not a customer of either HKSI nor Declude. I only
do so in private communications though, and because of all the very good
testimonials from knowledgeable customers and my own evaluation of demo
versions (in HKSI's case).
