One thing I would like to add, is the windows says:
"SMTP listener 7.00 started on 0.0.0.0 port 25"
Does this mean, that it's listening to ALL IP's bound
to the NIC card? Or does this mean, that it's literally
listening on "0.0.0.0".
Do we need to specify a specific IP (or host) to listen
to, in order to start capturing all activity for SMTP
traffic?
I also followed that Knowledge Base reference, that was
posted earlier, and implemented ALL of those things,
and still nothing. This one:

SO, if we could still work on this, I would greatly

I tried that. But nothing happens. The window DOES
pop up on the desktop, but nothing scrolls by.

change the service properties to 'allow interact with desktop'. Stop and
restart the desired service and you will see some information in a small
window as mail passes thru the box...
