check their account in the GUI admin when they get the error. See if the
account disabled checkbox is checked when you look at that user. It's on the
first tab. If it is then someone is probably entering bad passwords trying
to gain access to their POP account and is properly being disabled. Enable
logging if it isn't to see what is going on. (I think only the POP server
does intruder lockout, but I'm new to IMail so perhaps IMAP does it too.)
