Hello everyone,

We're running Imail 6.03 here and are seeing some strange behavior on one of our customer's listservs.  To be more detailed, the customer has a virtual mail server called mail.abc.com which is assigned it's own unqiue public IP address.  The customer has 1 pop account setup ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and a large number of aliases setup.  The customer recently requested that a listserv be setup called announcements.  After the listserv was initially setup, the customer wanted to test it first, before putting it into production use, so he added about 30 or so aliases on his mail.abc.com mail server that point back to his 1 pop account, [EMAIL PROTECTED].  The thinking was that if the customer sent a message to his moderated listserv, he would receive 30 copies of that message to his [EMAIL PROTECTED] address.  Additionally, the customer provided the users.lst and users.txt files in the appropriate format, containing the 30 test aliases.

Upon sending his first message to the listserv, Imail did process the message, but then did something odd.  Instead of receiving 30 copies of the message at his [EMAIL PROTECTED] pop account, the customer only received 11 copies of the message.  Again, thinking that maybe 19 of the aliases had some type of error, the customer proceeded to email each alias manually to confirm that each was corrrectly pointed at his [EMAIL PROTECTED] pop account.  Each of the 30 aliases worked exactly as they should when he emailed each alias individually.

To try & troubleshoot further, the users.lst & users.txt files were both deleted.  The customer then proceeded to send subscribe messages to the list for two of his aliases.  After he received confirmation messages that both aliases had been successfully subscribed to his list, he send another message to the listserv, he was expecting two copies of his messsage at his [EMAIL PROTECTED] account, but instead only received 1.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before in a listserv running Imail 6.03?  Any suggestions on what we might do to troubleshoot this issue further?  We are running multiple other listservs for customers on the same physical server, but on other virtual mail servers and those listservs work great.  I've looked at the log files (with debug mode turned on) and they reveal no helpful information about this problem.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
