Hello all, I have been having some strange things happening on my Imail v7.07 machine running Win2K. A little background:
About a month ago we converted our Imail server to Windows 2000. Essentially we exported the Imail registry keys, reformatted our system drive, installed Win2k, imported the registry keys. We left our Imail directory structure intact. I also upgraded from 7.05 up to 7.07 with all the hot fixes in between. Everything seemed to be working fine. We have a large (20k) list that sends out 1 e-mail message a day. The day before we upgraded our box, we got maybe 150 NDR's from this list. The next day, all of a sudden we are getting 700. So I restored the list from the day before we upgraded and again about 700 NDR's. So we went through the NDR's and unsubscribed the addresses from the NDR's and we got back to a 100 or so. 2 weeks later out of the blue, we jumped up to 650 again. A spot check showed that people we had unsubscribed were back in the list. Now clients do have the ability to subscribe to the list, but 500 bad subscriptions?? I am going nuts. Can anyone give me some direction here. In researching this process, I also noticed that the logging seems to have changed. My sys### log seems to have dropped way down in size and my log### log is now a lot larger. ??? Any help or direction is appreciated. I have v8.0 and would be willing to upgrade if absolutely necessary.
