TAP is for SMS, right? I know a client of mine in France wrote an
interface to TAP to send SMS messages. Maybe it has wider
application. SMS isn�t too big in US, I think. It�s humongous in Europe
and rest of world, where the wireless telephony standards are uniform,
digital, and generally more advanced than US. The price the USA pays for
"going first".
google doesn�t show much, except:
TAP Telephony Access Protocol. A Cisco proprietary string based protocol
designed to support the S.100 C
api. Applications communicate with TNT via TAP. Protocol for communications
between the uOne
platform and applications.
