The cable company blocked inbound access to port 25? Usually, the problem
is that outbound access to port 25 is blocked.
If the cable company is blocking incoming access to port 25 on your server,
they most likely have a policy against running servers. If so, it might be
best to stop now before they get mad. But, that's your decision.

That would pose a problem. IMail can listen on a port other than 25, but I
don't think it can send on a port other than 25.

Yes, IMail grabs all IPs that it can find.

It's not going to be easy (unless IMail has an option to do this, which I
doubt). 99% of the time where nonstandard ports are used, it's for mail
clients to bypass (outgoing) port 25 blocking. That's pretty easy to
accomplish, either having IMail listen on a nonstandard port, or using
tunnelling (a program that listens on a nonstandard port, and forwards to
port 25).
But, what you need is either to have IMail send to a nonstandard port
(which I don't believe it can do), or find some program/hardware that
re-routes outgoing SMTP packets destined to a certain IP, so that it will
go to the same IP but a different port. I'm not aware of such a beast for
outgoing packets.
Using MS SMTP would be a good idea, but as you point out, IMail grabs all
IPs. So that likely won't work.
Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to get this to work, without the
cable company overriding the port 25 block for you (which they should
certainly be able to do, but certain won't if they don't allow servers).
