In the Exchange 2000 Management Console on the MMC
Configure an "SMTP" Connector under "Connectors"
On the "Advanced" tab choose ETRN and configue the dns name of the mail
server to query for pickup and delivery of mail. Select the frequency of
connecting, etc.
