I looked at this and its for Imail 7. I have 6.x.

While I haven't gone to an external db yet, I have considered it and
mySQL/Win is my only option other than Access.

If anyone has tried this before, how tough would it be to

1)specify an Access DSN and let Imail create the tables
2) examine the tables and convert them (stru and data) to mySQL and
3)then specify the mySQL dsn as the Imail user dsn.

Maybe a bit roundabout, but wouldn't that also be a solution, assuming of
course I had properly set up mySQL in the first place ?

Just asking,

Go to http://www.dpzone.com/products/software/imail/odbcuser/index.html
and get their .dll.

MySQL/MyODBC. I keep getting corruption in the USERDIR field (possibly not
liking the "\" character).
