Hi
I just want to follow up on the problem I am having with the names being
displayed at the From: line when using web messaging.
As you can see I'm also sending this mail to support and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm not happy, and if any of you know who
else to contact at ipswitch to make them aware of the problems please let me
know.
More below....

The response I got from support on september 12 was:
"The name is not changed in the registry but if you close and reopen the
IMail Administrator, the change does apply to the user account and the
display name on the e-mail has changed."
I'm not sure what this says, and repleyed to tell support that. Since then I
have not received any response.
So:
1) If any of you can help me understand what support is trying to get me to
do (and closing and reopening the Imail Administrator makes no difference to
my problem) then please help me.
2) I'm getting tired of Ipswitch support. Imail has some quirks that you
have to know so that you can work around them, and it has some bugs. But
it's like every time I report a issue that is related to some bug (or at
least strange behavior like the one above) they don't really care. They will
just ignore it, and seems to have no interest in creating a product that
works as you would expect every time.
I'm more and more getting the impression that Imail has som brutal design
flaws like having the information in several places - as is the case with
the case above. Full name information is in several places, and then of
course they mess up in when to update what.
I don't know what to do.
Regards,
Kaj Laursen
