I'm having some problems with the full name as displayed when a user sends
an email. I sent the description below to support, but thought that I would
ask if any of you have seen this before?
Description of error:
I use the NT user database, and when I create a user i also run ldaper to
set the GN and SN. The name I set in the NT userdatabase includes some
information that should not be displayed.
Then the name as displayed in Imail administrator and in webmail settings is
correct, the one that I set with ldaper. But the fullname in the registry
(which is used when a user sends mail) is still the one from the NT user
database.
If I choose a user in Imail administrator (where the name is displayed
correctly as wished) and just check and uncheck an option so that I can
click "apply", the fullname in the registry is then correct after I click
apply.
So in a way the names are "out of sync". Is there a way to do the "click
apply" as described above in an easy way - I don't want to do it manually
for some 800 users.
