not expected or welcome, but it is widely reported here that Imail will 
often not deliver at full throttle when confronted with a big list spike or 
big queue buildup.

10 to 20 second is doable with other mail engines.

yes, 30k to 60K / hour is acheivable, but not with Imail reliably.  As John 
said, his requirements were very lightweight so he�s happy with the results.
