The free version is the fully functional dos version. If you buy the dos
version, there isn't a customer number or special URL. You just keep running
the same thing.
The dos version is all that is needed for declude. If you install the Windows
version later, do NOT enable the real time on-access scanner.
If you want to use the auto-updater, I would suggest NOT using the f-prot
scheduler, and instead use the NT scheduler service with the f-prot upater.exe
using a command line of "d:\path\updater.exe /RUN /INTERNET /QUIT"
Personally, I use an FTP script that I trust more than the black box of
f-prot's updater.exe.
