I've never written to this list previously, not that it's relevant at all.

As far as the bashing goes, I didn't see any. Microsoft didn't lead this
"charge", it was an effort by all computer companies. If it weren't for IBM and
Compaq, MS wouldn't have had anything to write for. We might also want to add
Xerox into the mix as well.

OS2 was far, far ahead of MS in OS. I used it way before MS had a product that
was remotely close to Warp.

As far as their new "pricing structure" is concerned, it stinks to high heaven.
With no upgrade path except full upgrade, this is going to be a wonderfully
expensive world!
