I tried this too and it works. OE doesn't refresh folders automatically. You have to tell it to. I right-click on the mail host name above the folder list and choose "IMAP Folders". Then click the "Reset List" button. Then you should see it in the folder list in that dialog box. You have to double-click the new folder for it to show up in the OE folder list.
This is something I never knew about before. Part of me says "Hey! This is kinda cool!" But a BIGGER part of me says "Hey! How the hell do I turn this off before someone finds out about it and decides to create my users 3000 nice new folders just by sending them mail?" Any idea if this can be disabled? --Todd. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Hornbaker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2001 5:25 PM Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] sub folders > The method I described creates a "folder" (what IMail calls a "mailbox"). > It should be visible from the web when logging in as [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Not sure how the various IMAP clients will see it. > > -Ron > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2001 4:02 PM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] sub folders > > > > > > Ron, > > I found a Q in the KB that showed me the light but am still > > having issues > > with my IMAP users seeing the sub folders.
