Scott: I have sent this mail to declude support twice, once last week and again this morning but I'm not getting any feedback. My questions are on the bottom.

Now it does catch NIMDA and sircam. That means that Declude is up and running, is decoding the attachments, and the virus scanner is reporting that it found no virus. If you have enabled NetShield's on-access virus scanner (if you see pop-up windows occasionally reporting viruses), then it is interfering with Declude (for example, if it deletes the virus, then when Declude calls the virus scanner, it will report that there is NO virus, since the file was deleted, and Declude will allow the mail through). If that's the case, you should disable the on-access scanner (or have it set not to scan the subdirectories off of \IMail\spool). > And my Dec_log looks like this: > >10/30/2001 00:26:14 Q39e650c Msg failed BADHEADERS (bad headers [c0200200]). >10/30/2001 00:26:14 Q39e650c Msg failed SPAMHEADERS (bad headers [c0200200]). >10/30/2001 00:26:35 Q39ff50c Msg failed BADHEADERS (bad headers [c0200200]). >10/30/2001 00:26:35 Q39ff50c Msg failed SPAMHEADERS (bad headers [c0200200]). >10/30/2001 00:31:39 Q3b2f50c Msg failed SPAMHEADERS (bad headers [40000202]). That's normal. Those are E-mails that failed the BADHEADERS and SPAMHEADERS tests. -Scott 1. I disabled the on-access virus scanner, yet I can still send an attachment in this case a short film called AmericanTribue.exe and it goes right through. Do I need to disable the file scan caching too. 2. On my junk mail shouldn't it be warning the client? Because, if it does then I would be able to change them to hold. notes: I have downloaded the new declude 1.28 and the associated config files to their respected directorys.
