I know that this is slightly off-topic, but with all of the talk of
viruses, I just wanted to put a good word in for a vendor who did right
by me today.

I run Declude and f-prot. The other day, a Word Doc was intercepted as
containing a virus, and the automatic notification message was sent to
the sender. The sender wrote me to tell me that this was a false
positive, that this must be some sort of a bug in my setup. His Norton
didn't catch it, so there must be a problem on my end. I wrote to Frisk
(makers of f-prot) for advice, and an employee named Vesselin promptly
replied and said I was more than welcome to send the file in question,
which I did.

He analyzed it, and even tested it with Norton. He found that there was
indeed a virus, and that the latest Norton would also mark it as such.

I really appreciated the outstanding service, and just wanted to pass on
my appreciation to a larger community.
