In addition, I'm not an ISP, but if I were and I had a customer that did not
want their email scanned for viruses, then I don't think I would want them
on my network anyway. What possible motivation, other than clandestine,
could someone have to not wanting their email scanned for viruses? Its like
not wanting your car washed each time you take it in for service. Do you
like a dirty car? I wouldn't mind having mine cleaned!!

My practice is to avoid sticking my digits in the toilet.

Some servicemen were about to leave the restroom. One was standing at the
sink. He said to the other, "In the navy, they taught us to wash our hands
after going to the bathroom." The other said, "In the army they taught us
not to pee on our hands." The third said, "In the air force we learned how
to hold it." (I just added the last one to this old joke.)

I was referring to hosts censoring emails that have specific enclosures. I
do understand the need to protect your servers, though. And I certainly see
the need for it for Intranets and companies that have networks that can be
affected by a single user's mistake.
