Well,  you  can  filter all unimportant mail destined for the catchall
mailbox  to  NUL. (Maybe you knew that and were just talking about the
processor/storage overhead of the attempt to copy the mail, though?)

Yikes.  An  easier  alternative  would be to put up Network Monitor on
your server and just filter on their address/port.
