iMail v7.05 ( with hot fix 1) I do apologize if this is more DNS related than iMail, and this topic was recently brought up ( back in December ), however; I didn't quite understand the solution. I'm also a newbie to DNS.
www.dnsreport.com states that "mail.thisdomain.com claims to be host X1." Not knowing if the two messages were the complete thread or not, I figured I'd inquire about it again. This issue is only know coming up around here, as we've finished implementing our primary name server which points back to our mail servers IP --- "mail 1D IN A www.xxx.yyy.zzz" We host about 50 virtual domains with imail and each domain has its own "mail." host name listed in our name server. What change(s) do I need to make to my DNS to be compliant with RFC821 4.3. I appreciate any assistance. thanks.
