I tried that but I wasn't able to retrieve the messages that I had already
retrieved with that account, which I guess makes sense because you wouldn't
want to retrieve all of your old email every time you logged on.  I was just
trying to come up with a solution that people could use when they weren't at
their desk (offsite)without having to forward mail to themselves. I don't
want to store everybody's email on the server but was hoping to come up with
something that the user could switch on and off if they needed it.

Web Mail would be my first answer.  After that, if they are going to set up
a POP account on another machine, they simply need to select the Leave mail
on server option and select any of the sub options under it.  This is
available in both Netscape and Outlook/Outlook Express.
