I struggled with the same problem for several days until I found the following in an
KB
article:

Try opening the \imail\ldap\domain.dta file in Notepad. Remove the zero (0) in the
line that reads:
*rm*=0
so that it now reads
*rm*=
Save the file, LDAP queries will again return results.

I hope that helps.

Hi, I'm currently evaluating IMail and haven't been able to get LDAP
working. I've searched through the site and user manual, but I seem to be
missing something. I'm using Outlook Express 5 clients. I think I need a
little hand holding here.

I've just installed the evaluation version 7.05 and created a few user
accounts. Mail between users is working fine. Haven't configured much
else. I'm really stumped as to what to enter as the Search Base criteria
in Outook. The user manual says "objectclass=Person" but that doesn't seem
to work.

Any help would be great.

PS: Tried applying hot fixes, but they won't install. Something about not
finding an old file.
