In a shooting match where there are nothing but long shots, here's one that
might help in determining what's causing Imail stability.

This has a good reputation as a memory test. Can't hurt to run it.

Although memory rarely goes bad, putting in the wrong memory for the
motherboard memory controller, mixing different types of memory, flaky/bad
memory from the mfr, etc, etc can cause memory reliability to be reduced,
but ONLY failing, and intermittantly, under certain software conditions
(new .exe, new .dll, new combinations of software, etc, etc).
