I made a copy of my spool folder and ran that same command ... and got the
same results you did. I then issued the following command: isplcln -n 5 -l
0 and got the desired results. It didn't touch any log files. Interesting.

ok, fine... but what happened? I ran "isplcln -n 5" from the imail
directory and it not only deleted a bunch of old spool files, it also
deleted the last 19 days of log files. I asked the ipswitch tech people if
doing this exact command would leave the log files and they told me it
would, so i ran it... now the files are gone. granted, i should have tested
first... and i have backups of all but todays, but i think that there is
either a problem with this program or with the tech support. I would just
like to know where the problem is so that i can use this program to delete
old spool files...
