I will post this again for those who missed it. This is ipswitch's response to an email exchange I had about their web messaging:
Let me first say thank you for switching the templates for our test. I do want to let you know that there is a bug in web messaging that causes it to use extensive resources. This is supposed to be addressed in our next build coming out very soon. You are more than welcome to switch back to the HKSI templates now as it did not prove any different with the stock ones. I apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your extended patience in this matter, unfortunately, I am unable to give a better answer right now. So lets drop the crap that it is the network card, templates, or a faulty setup. My system ran fine until I upgraded, while some people can come on and act superior because it is not happening to their system - obviously there is an issue. You can rip your hair out, repaint the outside of your office - but when it comes down to it, until ipswitch fixes this, nothing will solve the problem.
