I'm guessing that Cold Fusion is sending those E-mails individually (IE one E-mail sent to 100 recipients would result in 200 files in the spool if there is only one recipient per copy of the E-mail, whereas there might only be 10 files in the spool if Cold Fusion uses multiple recipients per E-mail. If the E-mails are personalized (IE each one is slightly different), however, then it would not be possible to use multiple recipients per E-mail. >I have seen some posts about how Imail handles the Queue, but I am looking >for additional information. As far as I know, the only information about this issue (aside from what you'll read from this mailing list) is at http://www.declude.com/dq.htm -- the information isn't pretty, and needs some updating, but provides some useful insight into the IMail spool when heavy loads are reached. >Specifically, I saw a post in regards to Decludes queue, but it does not >appear that is a stand alone product. FYI, it can be used as a stand alone product (for free), although we don't have information about it online yet. Declude Queue is included in all of our Declude products. You can just follow the instructions for the first step of installing Declude Confirm at http://www.declude.com/Confirm/ , and just skip the second step. Declude Queue will be installed (without installing Declude Confirm). Declude Queue should dramatically increase the speed of delivery of the mailings. -Scott --- Declude: Anti-virus, Anti-spam and Anti-hijacking solutions for IMail. http://www.declude.com --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
