Further  to  Scott's  message, if you do not have a terrific amount of
other  processes running on the system, you can raise your MaxQueProcs
in  the  Registry (see the KB). This is the figure which is limited by
the Desktop Heap depletion issue DQ works around. But you can possibly
raise  it  as  high  as  50  or  60--just increment it by 10 or so per
week/month and watch your results carefully. Throttle NumQueProcs back
down  if  you see heap depletion GPFs (be warned that these errors are
pretty  fatal  and may require a full reboot). Get Declude Queue, too:
it  kicks  in when NumQueProcs is met or exceeded and keeps the system
working.

With some custom code tweaks (not yet released to the public, but look
out for them) and adequate RAM and network speed, I've actually stayed
stable  with  MaxQueProcs  as  high  as 200. Don't try that on a plain
system, though.
