That's not an IMail issue. They are saying that you should re-route SMTP
packets that your users send to other ISPs, and send them to your mail
server. This would be done on your Ascend router. Unfortunately, that's a
sleazy thing to do, and could result in upset customers (you will be
intercepting Internet packets that your users send to other ISPs, and you
will then be pretending to be that ISP, and will store information from
those packets on your hard drive).
Better would be to block all SMTP packets to other ISPs, although this is
still very annoying to users (you won't be providing full Internet access;
you'll be providing censored Internet access), and can cause really tough
troubleshooting problems. But, it's widespread enough that many users will
accept it.
