You are using a firewall no doubt. You need to open up a hole in your firewall for the spell checker port.

None of our remote sites are able to access the Spell Checker in Webmessaging. It works fine for anyone using Webmessaging on our LAN. When remote sites try to spell check something, the Java page starts to open, they get the gray box, but then it stalls with a Java.langNullPointerException error in the status bar. (Internet Explorer 5 & 6) Then when the person tries to use the back button to go back to the message composition page, the form has been cleared and they must start the message from scratch. I've upgraded the Java packages on some of the computers but that doesn't seem to make a difference. It doesn't seem to make a difference on speed of connection either. I have not been able to come across anything like this listed in the KB or archives for this forum. Any ideas?
