Ya the NS is a nice box because it can do virtual IP. Example. You were a slacker and set your DNS up in such a way as to not separate the entry for pop.mail.com and smtp.mail.com. With the Netscreen, you can actually have one external IP for both of these, then redirect port 110 to one ip (and server) on your internal network, and then direct smpt on port 25, incoming to another box on your internal net(like an Imgate box, AV, whatever). This saves you from having to require all of your clients change their outgoing mail server setting to something else because you never separated them out in the first place. Have I tried it, no. But in theory, it could work.
