Yes, local to local works fine.

The banner that I receive when telneting to port 25 is:
220 X1 NT-ESMTP Server bunsen2.designstein.com (IMail 7.06 29-1)

There are several domains on this mail server. The highest traffice and most
important domain is designstein.com

I have checked dns on other servers to be safe and it appears to be fine.

Which log file should I be looking at for the telnet connect?
